This romantic gown is made from fine silk shantung. Empire silhouette, sweetheart neckline with princess seams through the bodice. A gauzy overlay of three cascading tiers of English tulle softens the silhouette. Delicate Alençon lace trims the bodice. Back zip, fully lined.

Now this is not a wedding dress, but could be … in my mind anything can be for a wedding … and I think this would be really nice (and simple) for an outdoor wedding. Whether in your backyard, the park or even the beach.
This is another dress (though not from the wedding collection) by Claire Pettibone. It is the LOLA gown in the : CP Boutique a store filled with her work… or so I believe it’s all her’s.
I wasn’t very sure how I felt about this dress. I looked at it for some time before seeing the flowers on it didn’t really make it that bad. The big flowers I at first thought were ugly, because I am not one for over the top or flare and those to me were just to big. But I have come to like this with it’s simple base and what appears to be a pinkish or peachy under color.
